This album, dedicated to Mr. Polo’s incredible explorations, is the work of an old friend of ours: Benedict Roff-Marsh, whom you may already know from an album of cover of Johann Sebastian Bach, released by HDK some time ago.
Benedict, whose music we are huge fans of, has a truly unique and unmistakable style, characterized by his use of self-designed digital synthesizers and melancholic and dreamy atmospheres. At times comfy and soothing, at others cosmic and visionary, “The Great Journey of Marco Polo” takes us on a sonic adventure through mysterious lands, legendary cities, and boundless horizons.
