Make way for the GOLDEN KNIGHT! The sword of Sir Richard of Warwick is always ready to defend the good guys from the bad ones... or just to fight as a pastime! His costume is flamboyant, his soul noble (or so he likes to believe), the world in which he lives is a strange Middle Ages where the crusades and the space race are both popular activities. Despite his princely appearance, Sir Richard is a vagabond: under the guise of going to fight the infidels in the Holy Land, he wanders the world (and space) in search of adventure. He will never get to the Holy Land, but yes to the Moon. Have fun with Sir Richard!

In 1939, on the pages of "Fantastic Comics", the GOLDEN KNIGHT made its debut; weird character created by the imagination of the talented (and forgotten) cartoonist Greg Chapian, the GOLDEN KNIGHT survived until Fantastic Comics #20 (July 1941), then supplanted by the more modern and cool (?) superheroes of the 1940s. The GOLDEN KNIGHT remains a unique proto-fantasy experiment in the Golden Age of American comics, an era of unparalleled creativity and fun.

The musician called CASIOTOMB has spent nights avidly reading the adventures of the Golden Knight and, admired by the charisma and courage of Sir Richard, he decided to dedicate an entire album to him. When CASIOTOMB delivered the album to the HDK offices we all agreed in calling it a masterpiece.
The Golden Knight's album is pure joy for the ears: an enchanted world where Johann Sebastian Bach plays with the Commodore 64 videogames, where Kraftwerk have never known synthesizers but only medieval instruments, where the Italian library music composers (Egisto Macchi, Marcello Giombini and Gianni Safred) are Dungeons & Dragons fanatics.
